Alexa Conlon

​Alexa Conlon is the Founder of Beyond The Birth Story Podcast & The Kayde Foundation - Perinatal Loss Support in Rural Alberta with a focus on supporting families experiencing this devastating loss and working with healthcare professionals to uphold the standard of prevention & bereavement care. 

She is a Nurse who has 3 years experience as baby nurse & postpartum nurse on a Labour and Delivery Unit in Rural Alberta, now currently holding a position on an Acute Care Unit.

On September 21, 2022, at 37 weeks & 5 days gestation, she experienced a Uterine Rupture during a trial of labour after caesarean section and her son, Kayde, was born sleeping. After walking this road and continuously identifying gaps in care, she created the podcast & foundation to ensure everyone is given the opportunity to have a voice and not walk this journey of heartbreak, alone in isolation.
