Kimberly Lockhart

Kimberly Lockhart is the Founder & Executive Director of Butterfly Support Network. After the stillbirth of her son, Wilder Jay, in 2017, she became a dedicated advocate for families navigating pregnancy loss, TFMR, infant loss, and infertility. Since 2019, she has championed improved care practices for bereaved families, beginning with the memorial walk/run Butterfly Run Vancouver, which has since grown into the national charity, Butterfly Support Network. Through this organization, grieving families have the opportunity to connect with others who share similar lived experiences. With a background in special education and a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion, Kimberly is a passionate community builder, connecting grieving families across BC to vital resources, support, and education.
